PenguinBomb responds:

oy, you gotta be one of the most active people in the audio portal I swearz! :D

Cool

Pretty groovy track but the drums could be alot louder. Other than that pretty dope track.

EmperorCharlemagne responds:

Man, it seems a reoccurring complaint in my songs is that the drums are too soft. Just wait and see, I'll get it right ONE day....

Thanks for the review!

Nice

I love the swaying melody going on man, Sounds pretty awesome man! The track could be a little longer but I still dig it! Check out my new track NRS whenever.

loansindi responds:

Hey man, thanks for the review!

I'm working on the length thing. It's about building up themes and such, I think.

I'll check yo shit now.

Nice!

I love it man! But! the vocals seem to drown out some of the background music. Maybe bring the music up a little to even it out with the volume of the vox? I dunno great track. Check out my newest track NRS

Thanks MJ! I'm a compressor noob :3

I'll play with the mix more!

You

Should've of named the song "What shall we do with a rollin buttpirate" lol. Cool shit.

-Jon

Stalagmite responds:

Lol. that has more sylables and would likely cause disrhythm and overlap of lyrics in synchronisation with sound.. but it would certainly send a message of gay butt pirates spread out there like wild fire. :D
yay for scurvy sea dogs and there wenches :D and yay for you and your awesome score :D !!!!

Sweet

Never heard a techno metal track like this before and that's coo. The overall mix could use a little work.

Drums: The snare could come up alot in the mix along with the kicker. Some eqing on the kicker could bring it out alot more. Maybe a little more treble and mids but not too much you don't want to lose that punch. The cymbals are a little high in the mix, and some variety of cymbals would be cool.

Guitar: I know you are using that crappy mic for recording your guitars and the tone sounds ok. You could get guitarrig3 which is alright or an pod. But maybe you don't got the cash at the moment. So its all good. The volume levels on both the right, and left could use some evening out, and could be brought up just a tad.

Overall: Pretty different track in the metal section my friend. Keep it up son!

haxorqueen responds:

thanks for your advice jon :)

im not much of a drum programer so that why the drums are pretty simple but i will try EQing em in adobe audition and see what i can come up with :)

and trying to make something different is what i aim for :)
